Online mental healthcare across Kansas
Meet Jess
I listen to understand, not diagnose.
I’m Jess Marcy, a Kansas-licensed and nationally board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner-Board Certified (PMHNP-BC). I work with adults facing anxiety, depression, unprocessed grief, and other challenges. My approach begins with seeking to understand the full context of your life, and from there, using therapy, medication (if needed), and everyday strategies to support mental and emotional health.
I’ve been a nurse for more than 16 years, supporting others through some of their most vulnerable moments. Before psychiatry, I worked in both hospital settings and home hospice, caring for people facing serious illness, major life events, intensive treatments, and the realities of loss.

Those experiences shape how I practice today: I see people as both capable and resilient, yet often quietly carrying more than anyone else could imagine.

When you work with me, you can expect care that respects your perspective. I’ll meet you with a balance of practical strategies, evidence-supported tools, and just enough lightness to make the heavy stuff a bit easier to carry.

Our sessions are collaborative, conversational, and centered on realistic goals that fit your life. Clients often tell me that even after the first session, they feel like I “get it."
If that’s the kind of support you’ve been looking for, I invite you to reach out.
